Description
NERSA is offering internship opportunities for talented and driven individuals who are passionate about contributing to the energy sector in South Africa. The internship program provides hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of energy regulation, policy development, and industry oversight.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting research, data analysis, and preparing reports on energy-related matters.
- Support various departments in administrative tasks, project coordination, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements to gain insights into regulatory processes and industry dynamics.
- Contribute to policy reviews, drafting documents, and presentations under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Collaborate with teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives within NERSA.
Qualifications
- Completed or pursuing a relevant degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Economics, Law, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
- Demonstrated interest or knowledge in the energy sector and regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
