This program is designed to provide unemployed youth with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in their chosen field at the world-renowned Market Theatre Foundation, with a monthly stipend of R5000.

- Sound Technician Intern

Requirements: Degree or National Diploma in Sound Technology / Engineering, Performing Arts.
Duties: Assist the professional technical production team with sound setups for events and productions. Operate sound equipment, perform mixing, and program cues using a mixing console. - Library Assistant Intern

Requirements: Relevant qualification.
Duties: Assist in library administration, cataloguing resources, and assisting patrons. Oversee check-outs and help maintain the library’s operations. - Lighting Intern

Applicant Requirements:
- Must have completed a degree or diploma from a recognized South African institution.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Must be currently unemployed and not studying full-time in 2025.
- Applicants should not have participated in or registered for the YES programme previously.
Successful interns will:
