Description
FEM is seeking passionate and driven interns to join our team through our FEM: YES (Youth Empowerment and Support) Internship program. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about women's empowerment, social justice, and community development to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at empowering young women and girls.
- Conduct research on relevant topics related to gender equality, women's rights, and empowerment.
- Support in organizing events, workshops, and campaigns focused on raising awareness and advocating for gender equality.
- Collaborate with team members to create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.
Qualifications
- Passion for women's empowerment and gender equality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Previous experience in advocacy, community organizing, or related fields is a plus.
