Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists and pharmacy staff in dispensing medication accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and purchases.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dispensary area and pharmacy shelves.
  • Learn and adhere to pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations governing pharmaceutical practice.
  • Participate in educational sessions and training modules to enhance knowledge and skills related to pharmacy operations.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, expiry dates, and restocking shelves as needed.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional service delivery.
  • Uphold Dis-Chem's commitment to ethical conduct, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Matric certificate (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Science as subjects (essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for the healthcare industry and helping others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medication.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • South African citizenship or permanent residency.
